Though I dunno know them for that long, I really like them. Especially the voice of Chris. It was the same feel when I first heard Maynard from Tool, very emotional. I know the comparison sucked, but this band really touched me. I love acoustic sound and beautiful melody. Not too many people know them in Taiwan, they don't have a official Chinese name, even after they do the main theme of Spiderman2, “Vindicated”.
Among their stuff, “Hands Down” could possibly be my favorite one. I found a special version video clip on eMule. Chris and Johnny were playing their Gibson and Larrivee on a couch, no more effects to cover, just like they sit beside you and sing.
It was the original pulsation of music.

Hey, Dashboard Confessional was getting real popular a couple years ago among college kids... and it is pretty decent. But after listening to alot of it, most of the songs start to all sound the same. But I guess that's how I feel about most emo music. I like it alot at first, then get bored of it after awhile. If you like them, try Pedro the Lion.
